The upcoming release of Motion plus for the Wii, got me thinking of the controllers I've had the pleasure of using over the years. The Wii remote, for instance is a very clever piece of kit but it's too simple (at the moment) and has too few inputs to consider it as one of the greatest controllers of all time.

Following the recent news about the greater than expected profits for Activision Blizzard, I would like to air my views about there policy on Guitar Hero...
I think part of this profits boost is coming from the whoring out of Activisions newest and largest brand. Don't get me wrong, I love the Guitar Hero games (thus far). I know it's not cool now Rock Band is out and kicking arse, but I just think that GH is the better brand - it's more fun and doesn't try and be too 'Kool 4 Skool'.

At this stage of any previous console cycle, there would be rumours galore about what the next generation holds. With none of the usual leaked concept art or grandiose claims of future tech from current gen manufacturers the future of consoles is very quiet.

I'm starting to get fed up of all the Edge bashing on these forums. I like Edge and I think it's a quality magazine.
DO you people just visit this site to be 'Outraged' by the supposed bias. You're a bunch of idiots. Why visit the site if you don't believe the reporting is up to scratch??
Is it just that you can't cope with the fact that Sony (as it always seems to be Sony owners) that the PS3 is the biggest mess of this generation?!

I agree with the whole Sony mixed message statement. Sony has tried to peddle the PS3 as an entertainment device at the start of it's life, which disn't work at all. THey had started to bring it around though with the focus on games. WHy are they reverting to an old strategy. It's silly and confusing for this new 'family' market they are aiming at.

I don't believe this. Tech leaks have already suggested that MS have got the processors on a single die - same as Sony with the PS3. I think they may wait til Natal is ready or just before - to release a more 'casual' friendly design. It may already be ready, we'll not know with MS. THey wouldn't want to be seen as having a 'Me Too' announcement - they don't need to, to be fair.
