Hell Glenn,
Thanks very much for your message, sorry I took so long to reply, I only just noticed it as I rarely view my own page! I appreciate your comments a great deal, it is nice to know that there are some agreeable people on here, you've refreshed my waining belief in rational people existing here! I enjoy a discussion with someone who has differing views, but the problem with internet blogs in general is that they seem to fill with people who think a quick snide remark is preferable to a calmly thought out exposition of their views. Just look at a Wall_E's comments here, could have been phrased a lot less smugly! I would love to write for Edge but alas I think you are being too kind, I may be able to construct my opinion logically (mostly I hope!) but I don't have the creativity to match the excellent writing in Edge, my pieces would all be too matter of fact with none of the flair that Edge is renowned for. Plus I've got zero journalistic experience!
As for your question, I've had a look about and I can't find an option to change my username either - I suspect it isn't possible. A few Edge employees regularly post on here, I think someone called Alex Walker may be an Edge employee, so it might be worth asking them if they know. Hope you get it sorted.
Cheers.
Glen. There isn't a text limit dude! You go on as much as you like that the best things about Edge comments. Say what's on your mind! Although it becomes much easier for the rest of us to read if you use paragraphs.
Sorry for being pedantic :D
SH
Thanks Glen, not be on XBL for a little while. Been swayed towards the PS3 over the last month or so. I've added you to my friends list, you've become a member of a very exclusive club. I make a special effort and give you a shout soon. :D
Get your grammar sorted out before posting!
Hint: The Return key is a good place to start!

10mb frame buffer? cant output 720p 2xAA in a single pass? That 10mb is "onboard" the GPU specificaly to deal with antialasing. Because of that, there is little to no performance hit choosing what ever antialasing tecnique the developer chooses. Have you forgot that "ghostbusters" was developed foremostly for PS3, but by the developer own admission, the ps3.s resolution of ghostbuster was at 75percent of the 360 version and coupled with a inferior antialasing technique, because it wasnt possible to sustain the frame rate the 360 was doing? Go google it...This isnt bull,go see for yo self's
So ps3 aint chaeting? LOL ALL DAY!
Come guys, are you all saying you dont find the tidbits of misinformed/acurate info from fanboys amusing? You all use the term "FANBOY" as a means to destroy any sense of credabilty the accused may or maynot have, (i suspect) therefore, solidyfing infact yourselfs of the very thing you claim you revile.
Can one not choose a brand ala Ferrari/Lamborgini/Bugatti and with their level of education will allow, express their reasons objectivly for chosing that brand? Do art critics dismis each other as "fanboys"?
Again, if somone is porposly being unobjective, that to me can be VERY funny, kinda like when Jeremy Clarkson loses all sense of reason for liking one car over another.Expesion somtimes fails him, and that is when he gets the most laughs. But is to say he is not to be taken seriously? Please apply my anology as common sense dictates.
Buddy, that you have just responded that way means you dont know the difference between a native res and upscaled. No problem,if there is ever any use of fanboy wars/console clashes, its that you CAN learn somthing(has i do) previously oblivious to. I will try to use a analogy.
If you take a postage stamp, with a picture made up of lets say,30 dots, THAT would be the native resolution. But lets say you want to look at that postage stamp on a A4 size paper.
to make the image cover the WHOLE A4 you would have to magnifiy the image (upscale) and then commit the image to the paper. Now you have a upscaled image made of 30 dots covering a surface area much larger than was originaly intended. This is why Wii games look horrid when used on HD screens, but perfectly acceptable on a SD tv. In case of 360/ps3, Both systems native res is somwhat higher than the SD standard, but seldom higher than the minimum accepted res for "HD".
This is where upscaling comes into play again.
Upscaling on the "HDtwins" offers much better results because they ARE upscaling from a higher res.
Now, if you was to take a image you knew you want to be A4 size, Your image would be made of 30,000 dots as opposed to 30 for a postage stamp.
Now lets say there are 2 tv's both 32 inch. One SD and the other HD. Even if you ran a ps2/Wii/xbox on both tv's...the images would ALWAYS be better on the SD tv. Its all about the amount of picture elements of any given space(far higher in the case of the HDtv). picture on a postage stamp is fine when viewed has intended, but get it under a magnifying glass...what happens? YEP clarity is sacrificed for size. You check ANY game on a pc that DEMANDS computing mega power, and you will be seeing true 1080 and even higher. The difference between a upscaled image and a native image shown at the same size are......,WORLDS APART
Very cool! thanks for clearing that up for me! But yet it remains that every game on 360 past The darknes is upscalable to 1080p, i realy think they would hold that option back (depending on the particular game if i understand u correctly) if it yeilleded les than better clarity over 720p...but in case of 360, this just doesnt seem to be the case....
