UK Chart: Just Dance Topples Modern Warfare 2
Ubisoft’s Just Dance has knocked Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from the top of the UK all formats chart.
The Wii exclusive dance title – which debuted at 100 on the all formats chart seven weeks ago – recorded a 114 per cent increase in weekly sales to become Ubisoft’s first chart topper since Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 back in March 2008.
With Wii Fit Plus holding second place, Modern Warfare 2 slipped to third after nine weeks of chart domination, during which time the shooter became the third biggest game ever in terms of UK unit sell-through.
The week’s highest new entry was EA’s Army Of Two: The 40th Day in fourth place.

Oh god, this would actually work well on Natal. Maybe MS have got it right after all. How the hell did this happen after christmas? I blame those awful dance shows on TV, Sony should bring out a Glee based Singstar, they'd make a fortune.

You don't even know what it is! Jesus christ, this is simply Samba de Amigo with marketing. Clearly Sega missed a trick. It really annoys me when people go out in droves to buy something they have no idea what it is.
How it managed to topple COD when it's been out of stock for most of the week, I don't know.

its time publishers realize that Wii owners prefer games like Just Dance or Carnival Games over games like MadWorld or Little King Story
I think they probably do know that, given how much shovelware is released on the system. There really aren't many "traditional" games like Madworld available, not in comparison to the droves of minigame compilations.
