Social gaming company Playdom has followed its recent $43 million funding round by acquiring Facebook game developer Green Patch and iPhone developer Trippert Labs.

Green Patch is best known for its first Facebook app, (Lil) Green Patch, and its largest, (lil) Farm Life, a virtual farming game that has over six million monthly active users, reports Inside Social Games.

Trippert Labs’ games include MobRacer, The Godfather II Crime Rings, Fighter Jets, Armada and Bug Olympics.

“We’ve been close to Green Patch since almost the beginning [of the Facebook platform]. We actually work about three blocks from each other. We’re mutual admirers,” said Playdom chairman and co-founder Rick Thompson.

Green Patch and Trippert will continue to exist as studios within Playdom. Terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.
